Yes I am aware of the vote which achieved 110 seat majority. It was a democratic vote after debate, so what has been pushed aside? There is a full on public enquiry which is still ongoing and there have been parliamentary debates. Compensation has been paid and accommodation found for all victims of the tragedy. I can’t see why anything is being ‘pushed aside’. People have been hauled before the enquiry to answer for their actions or lack thereof.
The fire chief at the time was also forced to resign despite Sadiq Kahn’s refusal to sack her even after the enquiry found that the brigade acted so badly under her command.
