School only buses

I wonder if anyone knows why the E3 and 272 routes aren’t being included in the scheme to have buses purely for school kids at certain times. Both are heaving with Chiswick School kids at the beginning and end of the day.

They won't be heaving any more if the capacity of a double decker bus is still limited to 30 people and a single decker to about 10.

Those limited do not apply to school kids - it's growd ups who are limited, not the children.  So yes I also wondered why those two bus routes weere not included on the scheme.  Several kids also use the Chiswick train loop line - maybe some carriages could be earmarked for those commuting children.

It’s outrageous. Children going to school. On buses. I mean, can’t they just wait until at least 10.30. And then leave at midday.

..or cycle or walk along the new super-safe road network that's being created around the school for their benefit.

But vehicles that belong to residents of the road can drive along it, so it’s not that safe.

I feel sorry for the bus drivers coping with a bunch of unsupervised kids every morning.I bet they would rather drive Millwall supporters to an away match any day!
