Temporary parking permits in LBH

Im swapping a car over and it seems the best way to do this in BP CPZ is to apply for a 30 day temporary permit for the new car then cancel the existing car ...Ive tried to follow this using search on this site and it throws up random answers/horror stories  between 2013 and whenever and the LBH site points to an address which says " no data" and cant seem to find a w4 postcode....So PLEASE..anyone have any idea how I can get this sorted before i blow another fuse? cheers!

Go to LBH website, navigate to parking permits, be sure to be logged in. Find your permit, click the tab 'change vehicle details'. The page tells you to email hounslow.permits@serco.com with the following details:Permit numberOld VRMNew VRMDate of the vehicle changeIn the subject line of the email please state: “Change of Vehicle”.they may or may not help you, but that seems the only way ahead. If you follow those instructions they send you an email valid for 30 days while you sort your paperwork out for the new car.

thanks for this....i made a cup of tea... breathed deeply and thought outside the box....which basically meant metrying with another browser and Yo !it worked ...was surprsisingly straightforward once id got into the system..and then just to check i went back in with the originbal browser and it also worked, so was clearly a glitch in the matrix when i tried the first five times or so!cheers
