iPad screen repairs

I foolishly dropped my newish iPad and smashed the screen.  I know repairs via Apple are very expensive and sometimes it is as cheap to buy a new one.  Does anybody know a local trader that does good screen repairs for iPads that are cheaper?Paul

Ismash on Power Road. They are a proper company rather than a man in a newsagent. They are certainly much better value than Apple and they turn things around quickly. I'd guess they'd do your iPad in an hour or so.  I've had screens/batteries etc across a variety of devices and always been happy and their work carries a guarantee. The cafe in the building they work from does a very good bacon roll too!

I just checked but they want £400.  Maybe that is the price that I will have to pay unless anyone knows better?

Go to the cell guru guys in the high rd  google them for address.They have repaired a 6 week old phone that samsung said was irreparable.Thing is he said it may be £80 but if he damages  a certain part it will be £160 I said go for it .He charged me £80 very honest

£400. Wow, that is a lot. I remember it being about £120 or something, but that was for an older model. Good luck
