Hi Ben. If you are admin, delete my post. If not get lost.

As a writer Neil did you script That Two Ronnies Sketch "The Phantom Spammer of Olde West London Town"?...

Mick Collins ● 2275d

Neil. Do you live in Chiswick?

Rima Jones ● 2275d

No he doesn't.But the subject matter of the BBC program is about the nude murders in and around Chiswick. For those of you with big mouths, do you know that the young lady's grave has never been marked with a headstone. She didn't deserve to be laid to rest in a unmarked grave.

Bernard Allen ● 2275d

Big mouths ?Thats a bit facialist Bernard is facialism allowed?

Mick Collins ● 2275d

Big mouths ?Thats a bit facialist Bernard is facialism allowed? What is a facialist called? An esthetician is a person who specializes in the beautification of the skin. Estheticians (sometimes spelled aestheticians) are not medical doctors; instead, they perform cosmetic skin treatments, such as facials, superficial chemical peels, body treatments, and waxing.Spelling for facialism is possibly wrong as per our information.

Bernard Allen ● 2275d

Ok. No problem.I was just wondering if Neil is a possibility for the Timeline of Chiswick writers and he might be so I will enquire.

Rima Jones ● 2275d

Google is such a wonderful pastime Bernard as you well realise .Do you know I did not know the meaning of Dgyjklouteryreious?Google is great.

Mick Collins ● 2275d

Instead of trying to be a comedian why not try and answer a post with something constructive.Coming from a Circus and Music Hall family, I do know what a comedian is.But watch what you say on this subject as there are still relatives of the young women around to read the post.Rima,I believe that Niel Lives in Wales.

Bernard Allen ● 2274d

RimaI believe the Niel lives in Wales now.

Bernard Allen ● 2274d

Leave it Bernard

Mick Collins ● 2274d

Thank you Neil, I'm interested as we had a great aunt that went on the missing list, never knew what happen to her.

Janice Evans ● 2274d

chiswickw4.comNeighbourhood Net Member ‘Solves’ The Riddle Of The Hammersmith Nude MurdersThe victims were found in Chiswick, Brentford and Hammersmith.

Rima Jones ● 2274d

Janice. See the article on chiswickW4.com which gives the names of the victims, dates and sites where they were found.

Rima Jones ● 2274d

Rima, she went missing years earlier than these murders, just that you remain interested and hope to find a link somewhere, before my partner knew about he used to keep asking why I was always reading about missing people etc., it's just always there, you always wonder, there wasa suggestion she had gone abroad although passenger lists were check at the time.  I'm not even sure if she was listed as a missing person.

Janice Evans ● 2274d

Someone also suggested tax records might reveal something but no idea how far back tax records go or how to go about it.

Janice Evans ● 2274d

What was her name?

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

Emily Day sometimes went under name O' Day.

Janice Evans ● 2274d

Thank you Janice. The name hasn't come up during my research. Family members of 6 out of the eight london victims have co-operated with me during my research into the London killings. I am in regular contact with them still. Frank Quinn, the son of 7th victim Frances Brown contacted me today to say he was pleased the documentary is being re-run on iplayer. We are still hopeful that the killer will be identified beyond all doubt.

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

I personally would not give Neil any time and space Those with a good memory will know his very open views on this forum in the past. It is pretty deep and openly wrong. A wide birth needed regardless of his writing or investigation skills

Julian Pavey ● 2274d

No Rima. I live in the town in Wales where the London killings suspect used to live. After 20 years in prison he lived in Fulham, Putney and Hammersmith during the time of the Nudes' Murders. People on a number of the London forums have been very helpful during my years of research.

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

Thank you Julian. Sorry our moral values differ. I am even at odds with some of my own family members regarding the matter. However, I will continue to believe in what I know is right and I will leave you to do what you believe is right. Final post regarding the matter.

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

Neil, it was years earlier and she was very close to her sister they did see each other every Friday, then one week they said she had gone abroadand they did check passenger lists and I think there was an article in the News of the World but not sure if that was an appeal for her to make contact or asking for info on her whereabouts. All very strange but thanksfor checking.

Janice Evans ● 2274d

I second what Julian said.Sling your hook, you're an unpleasant ,self-centred prick.

Ben Gemmingen ● 2274d

You obviously have low morals. Now go away you unhappy person. Last post to you, you ignorant one.

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

You're a twat and a bigot.

Ben Gemmingen ● 2274d

How sad that Janice wants to know about her missing family member and 2 men ruin it for her.

Georgina Flint ● 2274d

How sad it is that one of those  girls murdered still lays in an unmarked grave.

Richard Greenhough ● 2274d

Three of those girls are buried in the same unmarked grave. However one of the girls, Helene Barthelemy the last to be buried has memorial on a stone at the grave. Her son Tom recently had this erected.

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

One of the most sensible comments to date.

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

Nice to hear the Neil, I know it’s taken him a long time to get through the red tape,

Bernard Allen ● 2274d

Tom didn't do what he planned to do Bernard. I think there are 9 burials in the same plot with the 3 murder victims at the top in sequence. Helene is the very top one and the council agreed for her body to be exhumed and buried in her own plot. Tom, however got distressed and called the exhumation off.But he has put a small engraved marker at the grave. Beneath her is Irene Lockwood and below her is Elizabeth Figg.

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

Well I am lost for words, Those Women didn’t deserve what happened to them in the first place, and to be buried like that , wasn’t right.

Bernard Allen ● 2274d

Things are very different today Bernard. If a person doesn't have means for a normal funeral the local council public health department are obligated to find the cheapest funeral director to deal with the matter. And they are by no means bog-standard. They are dignified.

Neil Milkins ● 2274d

Georgina, I doubt anyone could help with our search, it was a long time ago and she would have died by now of old age for sure, it was strange circumstances and my Nan should have done more at the time but with a family and busy without all the searches possible that we have today sheLet time lapse before searching again then in later years my Aunts tried to find her without success, I have look into it a little but where she was working and living they had all records of employment destroyed whichnever help.

Janice Evans ● 2274d

Also shortly after she went missing, the place was left with everything in it, so there was no going back for info etc., things were made difficult for my Nan at the time for following up on it.

Janice Evans ● 2274d

Left by the occupants that is.

Janice Evans ● 2274d

Where is the grave Neil?

Rima Jones ● 2274d

Rima (I am not have a go at you)But why would you or I want to know where the grave is?I only got to know about her sons request to add a headstone through this forum a very long time ago and the location was never mentioned.I think its best left to the very few who know where it is, as this post will end up on the Internet. If some one found the details on the net they might start visiting the Cemetery as some sort of tourist attraction, and I think you or I wouldn't want that to happen.

Bernard Allen ● 2273d

Chiswick (New Cemetery) As far as I am aware there is only one entrance on the Richmond Road. As you go through the gates it is on the right near the road.

Neil Milkins ● 2273d

Neil, you are of course perfectly welcome to post here but I, I find your obsession a bit weird.

Carl Wynne ● 2273d

Hi Bernard.I posted to Rima before I saw your post. There have been numerous books written about the murders identyfying where all the murder victoms are buried. Harold Jones' grave has been identified in Hammersmith New Cemetery about 12 years ago and no one has desecrated that. I don't believe anyone with an unhealthy interest in the London murders would want to seek out the graves of the London murder victims for any sinister reason. Two years ago, people from all over Britain contributed to a fund to restore the memorials of Harold Jones' 2 Abertillery victims. The memorials are still in mint condition 2 years after the restoration. Copy and paste link.                                https://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/news/16398968.hundreds-attend-unveiling-of-new-graves-for-murdered-freda-burnell-and-florence-little/

Neil Milkins ● 2273d

Thank you Carl for your observation but nothing weird at all. I was answering Rima's question.

Neil Milkins ● 2273d

Thank you Neil for making it known to us that the grave is in Chiswick not Hammersmith. It seems unlikely that hoards of tourists will be arriving to see it but it will be of interest as part of Chiswick’s history and even the list of “Notable former residents” ! I don’t think that there is anything weird or obsessive about bringing your work to a satisfactory conclusion and must congratulate you on all your efforts for so many years.

Rima Jones ● 2273d

I'm with you on this one, Carl.

Robert Fish ● 2272d

On one theme only. What’s wrong with trying to find the killer of those girls. The police gave up years ago, in fact some of them weren’t very nice  with their post on an old police forum that use to be found by internet search. They didn’t have their security set correctly, but the forum was taken down years ago , So an individual takes up the challenge and ends up writhing a book about it.I don’t see a problem with that.

Bernard Allen ● 2272d

Agree Bernard.

Janice Evans ● 2272d

Thank you Rima. I am convinced Harold Jones was The Hammersmith Nudes' Killer. I am still hoping that things like the B.B.C. re-run of Dark Son will jog someone's memory who worked with Jones aka Harry Stevens in Acton. I believe he worked on the Heron Trading Estate.

Neil Milkins ● 2272d

Bernard. I am in regular contact with Steve Sloman a son of murder victim Hannah Tailford In the B.B.C. documentary Steve states that the police weren't concerned with spending  money to find the killer after the murders stopped. Their problem ended with the 8th and final murder. He still believes the authorities have the attitude that they were just old slappers, and best just to leave sleeping dogs lie. Professor David Wilson also feels that if the murdered women were nurses, doctors or of another "respectable" profession, the police wouldn't have wound down the murder inquiry when they did. Other books written about the murders paint the victims in a bad light. Especially Jack of Jumps by David Seabrook (deceased) who in my opinion wrote the most dreadful of the lot. The families of 6 of the murder victims who I am in regular  contact with have had to deal with horrendous details written by Seabrook about their relatives past. Professor David Wison is quoted as saying about Seabrook's book:".... these women were pathologised, denigrated, and almost blamed for their own untimely deaths." Why anyone would come to the conclusion that I have dealt with my research in a weird way is beyond me. I have also been described on this forum as obsessive. I would describe myself as determined. I have travelled the length and breadth of the country to try to give closure to the victims' families. I have nothing to be ashamed of in that regard.

Neil Milkins ● 2272d

Congratulations Neil on your tenacity in trying to find all the answers to any mystery here.  There is nothing quite so unsettling as something remaining unfinished for so long. The oldest profession of them all and what a fuss - it's 2020 - why?Janice did you tell us before where your aunt went missing and when as I think you might have done because I felt it was somewhere locally?  Do you remember the lady who died in Ealing and who owned a house but it appears just went home to collect her post and whose family were asking what happened to her because she obviously was living elsewhere eg in a live-in job.  I don't remember there being a conclusion.  Jim Lawes had a thread.

Philippa Bond ● 2271d

It was local Philippa, don't remember saying where it was or if I should say now, she was living and working for a prominent family.

Janice Evans ● 2271d

Thank you Philippa. If you have seen the documentary, you may recall Professor David Wilson stating that after 7 yearsof extensive research into Harold Jones' life in London I had then come up against a brick wall. 2 years down the line or 9 years later I am still up against the brick wall. There are people who have the answers to missing pieces of the jig-saw but my fear is that as time is going on not many persons will be still alive who may have the answers.

Neil Milkins ● 2271d

Philippa, was a long time ago that the lady in Ealing died. My Great aunt went missing either from where she was living in Acton or the surrounding area.  The residents where she was living said she had gone abroad somy Nan never ask for her belongings as they would have been taken with her, also think my Nan let time lapse waiting for her sister to contact herwhich of course never happen.

Janice Evans ● 2271d

Meant to say was it a long time ago she went missing.

Janice Evans ● 2271d

Or died what happen to that women do you know Philippa.

Janice Evans ● 2271d
