Well as a highly vulnerable person, I feel very strongly that my safety is or should be my responsibility, not the Governments. I certainly don't wish to encounter Covid carrying people and in effect commit suicide! Carefully and slowly I've been venturing out in my own car or a close friend's car. I've had a blood test, twice now at GP's, much needed hair cut, a visit to a solicitors, two pub lunches. I wear a mask and avoid being in any sort of crowded area. My friend & I sit at a diagonal across the pub table, outside in a courtyard. Hand washing too is essential. I've re-started having my cleaner back 2 hrs once a week - a spotless dust free space and ironed sheets again! Simple pleasures and the joy once again of freedom of movement!Who are the people testing positive, young, middle aged or past their use by date oldies? Are they mild cases like a bad cold type symptoms or are they death situations requiring serious medical/hospital intervention? It does make a huge difference. If only EVERYONE acted responsibly and unselfishly looked out for others, not breathing all over them an keping their hands scrupulously clean we should be able to limit anyother any new cases.
