Grove Park is becoming/has become a dystopian nightmare.

Don't forget the death squads rounding up non-compliants and taking them away to who knows where.I also heard - horror of horrors - that Grove Park deli has run out of fresh pasta and only has dried.Think of the children, won't someone please think of the children.

Agree.The Hobbits of Grove Park were blissfully happy with their big gardens, empty roads and little traffic.That was until Dark Lord "Sauran" Curran cast his evil over the shire and sent them CPZ and now road closures.The future is traffic jams, removal of parking spaces, no more E3, parking  charge hikes, cameras, a doubling garden waste charges, a scrapping of garden waste collections, closure of the co-op....

I tend to agree with Richard Potts comments.  I love Grove Park and have lived here since 1975 in the same small flat.  It was a beautiful green and verdant haven, almost rural in feel, big playing fields, the river and stunning S ot Green and it's ancient pubs.  You almost needed a machette to walk through Chiswick House "gardens" and as for Duke's Meadown, Dan Mason's drive was a positively wild area.   I am sure it was the envy of many despite it's lack of public transport but hey ho LBH were having none of that.  We had more trees than Hounslow, we had space to park off road and on the roadsides oh dear we were far too privileged, it must be stopped.  It's called progress folks - some good things but this last effort by Hounslow's Traffic is definitely not one of them.
