SOTG new restrictions

Can someone explain how the restrictions work. I want to know if I drive to my mothers house off SOTG very close to Kew Bridge  from Sutton Court Road area and stop and have a coffee or lunch with her when I drop off her weekly shop. Can I later continue to Brentford for my Afternoon work via Kew Bridge end of SOTG Or do I have to backtrack?

No change. The proposed measures are to discourage traffic driving straight through without stopping.

Thank you. What sort of time frame is permissible?  Sometimes I just drop shopping. Have a quick doorstep natter and continue.

I don’t think they have determine a time limit yet. I know from the traffic survey done last year the average duration between the survey camera locations was about 90 seconds which would be an average speed of around 20-25mph.My guess is that the time will be based upon staying below the speed limit of 20mph plus a stop but I really couldn’t say how long of a stop.

Have a cup of tea. No worries then.

How terrible it is that there be worry about any restrictions at all for people living in one part of Grove Park going to another part of Grove Park. What a nightmare if residents of Grove Park cannot move completely freely in the area in which they live.

Quite a lot of upside for the residents of SOTG area though. A quiet Thames Road no longer having lorries, vans and cars speeding though. House prices - kerching.

"How terrible it is that there be worry about any restrictions at all for people living in one part of Grove Park going to another part of Grove Park."Strand on the Green is not "another part of Grove Park", and deserves a break from through traffic along its narrow streets.
