Unfortunately, it is not just a moment in time for the 60 or so people who will lose their jobs in the next few months (with very little prospects of finding another job) at the London branch of (yet another) European bank that I am currently closing down. Just one of many. And these are not the mega earning multi millionaire bankers - just ordinary people - managers, clerks, secretaries etc.Nor for the young people whose career prospects are being curtailed, including many young lawyers who will not be "kept on" by their firms when qualifying this September, because of Brexit, after at least six years of study and work. And that's before we get onto the tidal wave of unemployment that will sweep across the manufacturing sector (particularly automotive) if we don't get a deal (which now appears to have been the plan all along).Brexit is not only politically and economically stupid, but down right evil. People's lives are, and will be destroyed.Every job lost is a personal tragedy for the person involved, and his or her dependents.
