Liz Truss

Who knew? She has suddenly demonstrated sense (limited but moving towards sense). What a surprise (not) that border and customs challenges are imminent. Might this imply that Johnson and Gove were lying? Surely not!!

I read the leaked news. Of course she is right, increase in smuggling will result. Where are all these wonderful computer systems we were promised. I mean they have had years to prepare for this.

the only thing that surprises me about this revelation is how long it has taken this "shower" of a government for the penny to drop. But don't worry folks, Boris has it all under control, he will have a world beating computer system  set up by the end of the month to make sure lorries have the correct paperwork for goods to freely flow in and out of Europe. hahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Will that system be like the other 'world beating' test and trace scheme now running at £10bn and not working????

Sunday will, I understand, see the truthful and trustworthy Gove launch the customs guidance for UK businesses. The excellent and straightforward deal he promised merely requires 100 pages of explanation. Jolly good. It’s nice to see that the simplification of doing business that was promised is resulting in piles of additional paperwork. All good. No?
