I have only just seen this on iPlayer- shocking- I am so shocked. I knew that this happened but the programme really brought it to me to understand what really went on- and this was recently.If you have not seen it yet- please do.

A stunning insight into how racist this country has become. I used to believe that the government were the shield between England's racists and policy. But now the government are driving it.

...and many of the 'Windrush' families caught up in this still haven't got the compensation they were promised for years of being unable to work, rent a home or get medical treatment and the rest. And they pretend it wasn't intentional!

Yes, we watched it. Everyone should. Even if you thought you were aware, you truly weren’t, I’d suggest. We still talk about it. The Verne. Who knew? Chilling and utterly shameful in equal measure. Not in my name.
