There is a cycle path of sorts on the west side - it is excellent over Power Bridge but then Give Way signs at every little drive past the school, rectory and cemetery, then extremely narrow going north watch out for the root of a tree just where it becomes more a walking than cycling path and difficult to social distance if people walking/cycling south. At the junction with Pope's Lane it is tricky to negotiate the garage on the north west side so generally from the lights I would go on to the road. Whe you are coming home the pity is that there is no path on the east side as during the consultation some Councillors who never cycle campaigned against it. So residents have 4 lanes of noisy, often speeding traffic going past their doors when they could have had a reduction in this traffic with nodal shift brought about by a safe cycle route. Enjoy cycling it though - the hill going north will help keep you fit.
