Scam heads up last hour

Just a heads up as i know some people can be vunerable at times. I never ever get unwanted calls but in the last hour two phone calls have got passed my blocking system from phone number 0. They say that your internet service is going to be disconnected please press 1 now to talk to a rep. DONT and dont press any numbers. Hang up The number the spoofers are operating as is telephone number  0. But it could be any single or double digit number i would think using VoIP If your never sure,contact your ISP supplier or google for more info using the numbers if given on a 1471 last number call and some info. How dare they get past my blocker system and that system wont allow number 0 to be blocked. I might even disconnect the phone as its never been used for years.

It's surprising how many nuisance callers don't even bother using a valid UK phone number. Guarantees no answer.

Having said all that,ive just received a third from number 0 I answered becasue i never get calls on my landline. That goes to show which i have said in the past. Never answer unless you know whoit is by caller id or answerphone. You answer and your number gets logged by their system as a working number. Unfortunatley answerphones do the same so caller display and choosing to answer calls is the best way. My landline phone is now disconnected,not that it ever rings until now
