Red Arrows & Patroulle de France

Anyone know if they’re likely to fly over Chiswick tomorrow?

They are for a change flying from the west towards london. This is the noted flightpath. Which is bagshot,richmond park and the palace. So on that flightpath the answer would be no unless your on the river more towards hammersmith and bishops park. You might just about get some view looking from the river in a south looking direction as they come over in a west to east direction. The cloud may be the bigger obstacle

Given De Gaulle’s attitude to Britain after the war and the current French attitude towards Britain especially Macron, I personally think this is a complete waste of time and will do nothing for any entente cordials.  The sparring and insults will continue.

I think we should just appreciate the gesture. Maybe Macron can convince Johnson to differentiate on quarantine rules between countries that have suppressed the pandemic to lower levels than ours and those that have not.

"..it's spent an awful lot of time lost in the post.."About five years ago they starting giving out Legion d'honneurs to those who had taken part in the liberation of France in 1944. My father, who took part in the D-day landings, was pleased to receive his, even that late in the day.

Disappointed...didn't see a thing. Can view vast distances from my eerie. .including Windsor,Bagshot,Camberley,Epsom Downs, Richmond etc and thought it must have been cancelled. Heard a roar in the air from Richmond way... but what route did it take?

Fantastic view of them from my garden. My neighbours builder took a video from the very top of his roof....if I get the video tomorrow I’ll send it to whoever wants it. That certainly improved my day!

I could have put a map up Jim but coming from bagshot and over richmond it was never going to be like we normally get to view so i just put a rough description. Here was the map i never posted as a guide

Original route was changed as further out of town it was heavy rain and cloud. But time it hit richmond park was bang on course for Buck Pal.
