Planned Gas Works Chiswick High Road

Last time I was on the High Road I saw a yellow sign board warning about roadworks relating to the gas supply on Chiswick High Road which, if memory serves, were about to start today. Does anyone have any further details about what is being done?

Are you sure it is gas works. I went to the Cadent web site and could find no indication that anything was planned.

According to one.network Cadent have several locations where roadworks are either ongoing or planned for CHR. Possibly they have been delayed.

Sign went up about a week ago. Clearly says gas works though no Cadent logo.As it is directly outside our door, the plan is to determine ASAP how works will impact pavement use given expected guidelines. I suspect the bank holiday has something to do with no one arriving on site yet.
