Missing Cat - Glebe Estate / Fraser Street

Dear AllMy cat went missing on Sunday evening in the Glebe Estate area / Fraser Street. She is called Alma and is a Maine Coon and looks like this photo - https://www.petplan.co.uk/pet-information/cat/breed/maine-coon/Please could people check their garden sheds in the Glebe Estate area.My cat lives within the Fraser Street / Quick Rd back gardens and doesn't travel outside this area usually. She may have jumped out of the back gardens and got lost or trapped. There is another very similar cat on Quick Rd that does roam which is confusing somewhat. But if people could pls check sheds and message me anytime if they see a confused Maine Coon, maybe take a photo and sent to me on whatsapp.Thank you very muchWill07973 548846

Hi WillI wouldn’t worry too much. I too have a Main Coone. They are natural wanderers. My other cat has also gone AWOL. It’s hot tonight so I’ll bet they’re sleeping under a car where the tarmac is cool. The little buggers have no idea how much we worry 😻😹 x

Thank you for your message. However our cat Alma has been away for 6 nights now, and shes never stayed out more than 1 night. Most unusual. If people could check their sheds I would be very grateful. Many thanks

Hi WillI don’t live near you, otherwise I’d help you look. They always turn up in the end. 😻x

Good news...My cat was found tonight, she is happy, healthy, quite hungry, and home...Two very kind ladies found her hiding in an overgrown front garden on Duke Rd (some 300 metres away) and called me. She was lost for 9 nights.. I had come to accept the worst.Thank you to everyone who helped to look for her, left messages, took photos and called. I really appreciate the help. For other cat owners who have lost your pet, put up posters, knock on neighbours doors and register the cat with petlog as missing and leave posts on websites like this one and the Next-door website. I hope you are successful in your search. All the bestWill
