Bundesliga balls bombshell..

I have just read that Bundesliga ball boys yesterday disinfected 30 balls before the game and again at half time..  I know this happened in Germany but even so - was it absolutely necessary?.. and was social distancing properly observed throughout the process..?.. how old were these ball-boys?.. were the police involved?.. and finally was this broadcast on live TV before the 9.00p.m watershed?..answers please on a postcard...

I am sure they would be OK, as long as they stayed alert and washed their hands afterwards!

The players were kissing each other when celebrating, Stuart. So the police might have got involved.

Sadly we don't have Sky TV so I missed everything.  Sounds like the police just looked the other way.  Typical!  . meanwhile we can only hope and send our heartfelt prayers that these poor German ball boys were wearing rubber gloves.. and we should all take steps to prevent similar outrages befalling English ball boys when the Premier League returns...At the very least we could make sure they don't have to disinfect these balls whilst standing up.  Or in full view of the cameras.

and finally was this broadcast on live TV before the 9.00p.m watershed? Not a single scheisse, although the echo of the empty stadium and the fake crowd cheering they added prob drowned a few out. The Premier League won't allow UK broadcasters or clubs the same option to use additional sound overlays.
