Peter Earles - Plumber - Highly recommended

All,Just thought I’d drop a reference on the forum. Last Monday night when we went to put the kids in the tub we discovered our boiler and immersion heater had both packed it in.Found Peter Earles number on the forum and got in touch with him. He helped me diagnose our issue for approximately an hour over the phone - multiple calls and text exchanges. When we’d determined it was in fact dead he agreed a time to visit us the following day. He turned up on time and got our Immersion Heater going and did some more diagnostics.We agreed a time for the following day and again, he turned up on time and repaired our boiler.We were extremely happy with his rates, the quality of his service and his help. I need some valves replacing on the radiators and some other central heating issues looked at.I contacted Peter Earles 5 weeks ago to ask if he could visit. He replied very quickly, and said that he would soon be visiting someone else down my road and would fit me in at the same time, and confirm to me when. 4 weeks on, having heard nothing, I contacted him last Tuesday and he replied saying he could visit ‘middayish’ today, which I agreed to; so this morning, I cleared all the furniture away from the rads, put sheets down where required, removed rad covers etc. in preparation. No show and no contact. Maybe he meant ‘midnightish’ and he’ll be here soon, but reading the reviews in the services directory of this site, this behaviour does not appear to be unusual for Peter Earles.Thanks for the recommendation!

I would happily recommend him again. He's hard to get hold of sometimes, but that may well be due to the fact he's highly recommended by so many people.

Peter Earles contacted me today to apologise. It turns out that he had been texting the other person down my road, thinking he was texting me. The other guy's name is also Mike, which he had mentioned earlier on, and he was already working there. Basically, it seems that he mixed up the names and addresses; so I forgive him.

That's good to hear. Peter is a 'top bloke' and has replaced my system boiler. HW tank, shower in fact countless plumbingjobs both small and large. As long as you can put up with the singing!
