If anyone is looking at donating a mans dutch style bike I would be happy to take off your hands and make a donation to the bike project. Also we have an old Claud Butler which is now in need of some serious tlc but are unable to transport to Chiswick Village are there any other collection points ?

Great idea.  Unfortunately we can't do this today either.

We juat dropped two bikes off at 4.15 and they had already had a great response - 25 or 30(?) bikes, with more arriving all the time. The only "problem" for the guy organising it was that the van he has ordered to take them to the workshop might not be big enough - though it was a problem he was delighted to have.So well done all those connected with this worthy venture!

Great idea.  I have been thinking about my Kettler bike which is now a bit heavy for me and beginning to rust.  I shake be dropping it round shortly.

Saintly husband walked the bicycle there as it had 2 flat tyres.  He was there in no time at all while I got completely lost between the A4 and the railway and ended up at Strand on the Green.Anyway it would appear that the good folk of Chiswick are giving up riding their bikes as there were more than 100 in the yard, some of which were in excellent condition and quite a few were racing/touring bikes.I hope the charity fulfill their ambition to repair and help to get people who don’t have much mobile for free.  All the best to them.

We took two bikes along at around 4.30 and there must have been about 50 or so bikes donated already! Fab idea!

We took 4 bikes there today that had been languishing in our shed for some time. Delighted to see that they had so many donations.

Hi all,Thank you so much for those who were able to donate. For those unable to make it this time around I am sure we can arrange for one in the not too distant future and I will be sure to advertise on here. Thanks again!
