Staveley Gardens - Gina's keys found

We found a set of keys that had been dropped opposite the cricket nets. Please PM me a description of the keyring if they are yours.

You could try sending a PM to Gina Thomas who’s a regular contributor ?

There's another Gina who lives locally who doesn't use this forum. She will walk her dog later on today and I will try and catch her, as I haven't got a contact number for her.

They're not mine. Hopefully the other Gina?!

Gina lives opposite me... I’ll knock in the morning and ask her.

There's a lesson to be learnt. Consider putting your phone number on your keyring, or that of a trusted friend if you are worried about the finder being a burglar who will trace where you live. Obvious?  You'd be surprised how many people don't put some kind of contact details on their keyring. The likelihood is that the finder will be a decent law abiding citizen like Jo anxious to find the owner. The important aspect of this is to get your lost keys repatriated before you pay £££ to change the locks. And surely there's no one out there who keeps their car keys and house keys on the same keyring???

Oops!  yes me!  Managed to lock them in the boot at Kew Retail Park -  AA chap to the rescue but he was unable to break into my car - tried everything from wire coat hanger, to piece of plastic etc etc.  Finally drove me back to Grove Park - thankfully neighbour in with my spare door key, retrieved spare car key and lovely AA man drove me back to Kew Retail Park - what super service, beyond his normal duties I'm sure.  Eternally grateful.

My keys are kept separate but I know an awful lot of people that do. Stupid habit I think. I know quite a few who keep car keys by the front door as well.

Keys kept by the front door? Gettaway with you Bob, surely no one does that any more? I know of a burglar going along back gardens last week in Chiswick, only about 12, 2 doors hadn't been locked at all. He only had to turn the door handle. Rich pickings are to be had.
