Another reason to support our local independents. I called my optician The Eye Studio  for some advice not really expecting anyone to answer the telephone, but thank goodness Andy was on duty and not only did he answer my questions, he kindly delivered much needed eye drops as I am unable to leave the house.    Thank you so much

Many of our local shops are open - if they are allowed to operate during lockdown - and are following social distancing rules. The Eye Studio is one - no tests but emergency repairs and supplies such as contact lenses and as you've experienced.Chiswickw4.com has published a list but it has slipped off the home page.  Here is the link: http://www.chiswickw4.com/default.asp?section=info&page=coronachiswickshopping002.htm

My husband managed to facetime the dentist to talk through sticking his two front teeth in (bridge fell out last week), worked a treat. The wonderful crew at SmileCare dropped the cement off and we cemented them back - rendering him less pirate like.
