That made me laugh, Vanessa! They really do have a sixth sense when their humans are about to administer something they definitely don't want. But, let's face it, squeezing a few drops of anti-flea treatment on the back of their neck is hardly painful but, boy, do they put up a fight! Squirming and squiggling all over the place - ridiculous! I spent about half an hour trying to lure Alfie in from the open kitchen window sill where he was sitting last night. I rattled various treats of Dreamies, Thrive, Like-Lix at him, accompanied by sweetly calling his name in the most endearing and comforting words I could muster. He'd poke his head in and I thought, yes, got him! But then he'd swiftly retreat and it would start all over again. He's no fool. I eventually managed to grab him with some freshly tinned tuna. Success at last! Cats! Who'd 'ave 'em? Lots of us, it would seem!
