Oh no you can’t!  You are on lock down but soon you might be allowed to.

Elizabeth Ross ● 2411d

To be sure, to be sure.

Ken Munn ● 2411d

Perhaps you will get an email from the Irish Govt. offering you a mercy flight home. :-)

Will Watson ● 2411d

Lets hope Alan Clark is still in bed so this does not descend in to a Brexit thread somehow lol

Paul Fisher ● 2411d

Travel wherever you like as long as it is not more than 2Km from home except for food shopping (the current travel restriction in the Republic).

N V Brooks ● 2411d

It's a long way to Tipperary.

Roger Talbot ● 2410d

It's good for ten years. If we're all still locked down then I think we might have gone mad.

Susan Kelly ● 2410d

Who knows, that passport might be good for collecting autographs in 15 years time once we come out of all this and people take stock to ones own economy, jobs and money.😮Oh dam....Not a Brexit comment...seriously...light-hearted fun.Something some people are lacking in these days Anyone up for a forum eye spy with my little eye

I was thinking about starting a forum game of Mornington Crescent  (Prague 1938 'no-shunting' rules, of course, I have no truck with these modern variants like the 1972 Paris convention).

N V Brooks ● 2410d

Smith-Jones after 5 days of not seeing his muttering

Elizabeth Ross ● 2410d

That will do Next

Julian Pavey ● 2410d

OK.  Sunshine

Elizabeth Ross ● 2410d

Wasn't expecting Sunshine (on the Sunbury Line in Melbourne) as the first entry on the Mornington Crescent game, but so be it.
A short hop then to South Kensington (same line but options open).

N V Brooks ● 2410d

Ah but Julian was before you and he was playing ‘I Spy’.  A fun bit of nonsense all round.

Elizabeth Ross ● 2410d

yes oh.Be careful what you wish for!

Katja Urban ● 2410d

Crikey. I hadn't realised all this was my fault.

Susan Kelly ● 2410d

Indeed, apologies Julian.
"I spy with my little eye, something beginning with........Q".

N V Brooks ● 2410d

"My Irish passport just arrived."You won't need it. Brexit has been cancelled indefinitely now. Covid-19 has killed it off.

Steve Taylor ● 2409d

Ooh Steve, you are awful, but I know one or two people who will be thrilled by your post. ;-)

Alastair Banton ● 2409d

Think a law was passed removing us from EU. Brexit not dependent upon outcome of trade negotiations.Although Schengen not officially revoked some countries in the EU are imposing border controls.

Jeffrey Cope ● 2409d

'Brexit has been cancelled'It has already happened. Keep up!

Susan Kelly ● 2409d

Sorry Susan, what is it you mean?If it's that Brexit has happened, you're correct. If you think Brexit has been cancelled you're wrong. Trade negotiations have been deferred and may not be concluded by the end of the year in which case Boris may go for his "no deal" option or may extend negotiations. Although, in only a minor manner, meetings between the UK government and the EU are still taking place.

Jeffrey Cope ● 2409d

'If you think Brexit has been cancelled you're wrong.'Eh? I'm the one pointing out that it has already happened.Seriously: keep up.

Susan Kelly ● 2409d

Please try to explain more clearly. What is the "it has already happened" you state?1]. The Brexit agreement has been signed and the UK has officially left the EU.2]. We are still members of the EU as a result of "cancellation"Just pick 1 or 2 and I'll take it from there.Seriously: use the language properly.

Jeffrey Cope ● 2409d

Susan's a published author.  Her use of language is wonderful.

Viv Griffiths ● 2409d

All I am attempting to do is define the "it" she refers to."it" has happened (Brexit has occurred)"it" has been cancelled (Brexit has been cancelled)Her brief replies do not make it clear.
