Have postal deliveries been reduced? We have had nothing for three days and we are seven flats. Totally understand if this is the case but couldn’t find anything online

Ours have locally and our post this morning was delivered by the lovely guy that normally shuttles around in the van. Our regular postie is self-isolating and given that it would need an earthquake for him to not deliver between 09:20-09:40 every morning I only hope that he is OK.

Our post today came at 5.00.p.m. Can only think that they are also struggling.

I posted first class something to my brother who lives near Oxford on Monday that has yet to arrive. It was something important so I suggest you don't use the post for anything like that for the duration.

We've got a small parcel for collection by Hermes - they still haven't appeared, so think everyone is struggling at the moment.
My experience of Hermes is that they are a shambles in normal times.

I have today received a letter which was posted airmail from the Netherlands on 3/3/2025 days and very battered when it arrived.Lack of planes? Royal Mail problems? ...........

Parcels get prioritised first. Posties will start being moved of their normal round to deliver around area. And if you live in a nice area where there are lots of people/joggers still out, posties have the option of not delivering to that area on H&S grounds.I deliver down lower/ upper mall W6 the amount of people out is shocking especially joggers that don’t understand what 2 meters is.

Some area are doing better than others. W6 only 3 of sick so no change to deliveries but W4/W14 are struggling with sickness.
Postal service in my part of Grove Park has been excellent. Please pass on our thanks to your postal worker colleagues in these difficult times.

Thank you.
Got some post today after about 5 days - 3 birthday cards, so very happy! Tapped on my bedroom window and gave a thumbs up to the postman, and blew him a massive big kiss!

In NorthChiswick, Hounslow, we are getting post most days. We get 2 magazine subscriptions delivered, one on Wednesday and the other on Friday. Occasionally they arrive late but are our test on deliveries.
