PLAYGROUNDS

Although the playgrounds are locked, children and young adults still climb in and play on the equipment. Please tell them not to, whether you are a parent or not. Having just watched NZ PM (way more calm and informative than Boris the Clown) - the virus can survive on surfaces for 72 hours.

Apparently can live on stainless steel for over 9 days .Adult gym equipment in Southfield Recreation has had its do not use cordoning pulled off (Hanging bars and chin up equipment)  and men clearly using the hanging bars for their muscle enhancement. Looks like the main muscle in their head is not working at all.Lets hope they do not need the help of our Nhs in the coming days. They may fill fit and show no symptoms but could easily be passing virus on.Joggers continually run up close behind and pass close to lone walkers, they are clearly not observing the 2 metre rule and make no effort to run off the track onto the grass to pass to make room. Walkers then have to walk on to the grass if they are lucky enough to be able to react in time in the process stepping in spit that the joggers have left behind on grass or dog poo often left on the grass just off the path. Joggers are travelling at more than 5mph so like bikes should be taking extra care when passing. Many just ignore you when you politely ask them to keep clear and respect peoples space. They will not be happy when the park has to be shut down because of these inconsiderate people but i can tell you that many considerate park users will not forget so easily.
