M&S and Vulnerable Customers

Well done M&S ! This morning and other mornings a week (not sure which days) between 8am and 9am is reserved for Vulnerable customers. They organised a queuing system had 3 staff members on the door who very politely turned away non vulnerable customers. All very civilised with none of the chaos that was Sainsbury's yesterday.

A very positive experience this morning - nice orderly queue, no shouting, pushing.One lady queried the free from range as she is struggling to buy glutton free etc. for her daughter with severe allergies - they offered to take her number and reserve when it does come in. Monday and Thursday 8 - 9am are reserved for Vulnerable, carers and NHS workers.Well done Andrew and the team at M & S.

Thanks for the laugh, Carol, whether intentional or not. Judging by the manic ransacking of food shops in the UK, there is a clear and urgent need for a larger range of glutton-free products.

Well done marks and Spencer's, shame on you Sainsbury and again today woman with large trolley overloaded many of same items,seven or eight of each I could see regardless of tannoy going off every few minutes,reminding us,no more than three of same item and some items,only two, she must think it didn't apply to her maybe she is,special.  Another Sainsbury, man has nine packs of toilet roll told at till could only have two he handed back five saying in having the rest he was refused he then preceded to get rude and nasty to which the manager intervened and he was allowed to purchase the,remaining rolls so maybe that's the answer kick up a,stink in Sainsbury and you may purchase whatever you like and however many, hmm food for thought.

Maybe the supermarkets should lock up all their trolleys and  have basket only shopping.

A good thought but needing to use two sticks I can't use a basket.
That said, the stores simply need to refuse  to serve these hoarders at the checkout — end of.

One solution would be to close the car park.It's clear the hoarders greed is only restricted by the size of their car's boot.If they had to come on their feet, cycle, bus etc they would buy what they needed rather than attempt to create a black market in loo rolls.
