Turnham Green  red phone box

I see in the newsletter a new coffee outlet is planned.I noticed that Barnes have converted theirs to a defibrillator unit. That surely is a better repurposing. Are there any defibrillators in CHR?

there is one in Sainsbury's on the pillar near the cigarette, customer service section. There must be more around.

I have been working on trying to instal a defibrillator in one of these phone boxes - it's an ideal location and an ideal purpose - but that point wasn't added to the story, unfortunately.  There are complications but I am working on them.  I would be very glad to know whether others would support it and please do comment here or contact me by email.Jojoanna.biddolph@hounslow.gov.uk

Defibrillator is an excellent idea, do we really need another Coffee vendor on CHR ?A defibrillator could save lives whereas yet another coffee place would just make money for its owners - it's a no brainer as to the decision !

I would certainly support that, Jo.  And we are not exactly short of coffee places around there.

I am glad to see support for this.If you are Barnes way, take a look at what they have done. It's a very smart job.
