"Nothing to do with DFA"It's included as a project on the DFA site at http://www.drinkingfountains.org/ If you scroll down to "Projects" and click on "Chiswick", you'll find this:The Association were approached about the restoration of the fountain by the Strand on the Green Association, which is a resident’s association in Chiswick, in the London Borough of Hounslow....The restored fountain was unveiled on Thursday 16 July 2009 by the Worshipful, the Mayor of the London Borough of Hounslow, Councillor Paul Lynch in the presence of children from the Strand on the Green schools and members of the Strand on the Green Association.I get the impression that SoGA did all the work, but DFA regard it as one of "their" projects. My googling also dredged up a comment on the MDFCTA* site on their page for the Chiswick Back Common fountain at http://mdfcta.co.uk/details-f/f142.html that "An identical fountain was installed in Homefield Recreation Ground." There's no other mention of the Homefield one elsewhere on that site, so I suspect it has not survived.* Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association, still the official name of the DFA.
