Long time etc..... yes, we miss Chiswick Twilight so much - he was a duck in a million. However, his son and heir, Lily, took over as King of the Garden although it took a while - they were lost without CT.The foxes are kept at bay, we love hearing them but not if they are going to have a takeaway feast courtesy of us.Lily had a horrible accident last year, catching his leg in some paving out of our sight and doing some dreadful damage.Emergency race to the vets who X-rayed him - a break would have been easier to fix but sadly he had ruptured the tendons, did nerve damage and it looked like the leg would be dead - we were not prepared to give up, and suggestions were being made as to how to fix a prosthetic leg if they had to amputate - but we had to give Lily time so they splinted the leg and we just had to confine him... took a few months but slowly feeling came back and now he is as good as new! He lost all the outer covering of his leg, too but it has all grown back shiny and new.Pic the vets sent me (they had to tape Lily down for the X-rays) and Lily confined, much to his disgust. But, being Twilight's son we knew he was feisty enough to pull through!and beautiful Lily!
