Just back from my jog, more like a fast walk down the towpath and amazed by the amount of other joggers flobbing ( spitting ) and in one case one not a meter or so after overtaking me, needless to say he had his headphones on and me wanting to have a word was useless as he was a lot quicker! Now, spitting should be a red card under ANY circumstances and think as part of reducing the spread of this virus, authorities should be giving on the spot £100 fine no questions asked. I remember in my rugby days one guy kept on flobbing in the line out even after I had asked him nicely to give it a rest which fell on deaf ears so the next line out asked the hooker to throw the ball towards my direction at the back of the line and just before he threw the ball i flobed on his boot which distracted him for that "spit" second for me to simply dive in for the try, should have seen his face after the rollerking from his team mates. So please, please refrain from gobbing as you are running. Our office in HK have these chemical matts as you walk into the building like the ones we had during the mad cow period as authorities there are concerned about foot transmition.
