Thought I'd replied earlier but must have pressed the wrong button! Here goes again - Cafe Monico has excellent coffee and a lovely atmosphere - enjoyed a cup at the bar before the show. Our supper afterwards was not good - the food was edible but tasteless and bland. It is very convenient however and we were comfortable and able to chat without needing ear trumpets!Had super weeks of entertainment, from the excellent "Boy Friend", then "Blythe Spirit" in Richmond, "Upstart Crow" was an exhilarating comedy with roars of laughter from a most appreciative audience. Then this week at OLYMPIC an enthralling encore from ROH Ballet "The Cellist" preceded by "The Gathering". What a night, so many of the top dancers in one evening - very privileged to see so much creative sparkling talent. It was a breathtaking experience and one I shall never forget - just superb!
