Best dry cleaners in Chiswick

Morning,I have some black oil stains on a nice pair of bottle green trousers that I can't shift! Would anyone recommend somewhere in Chiswick that might be able to help? I took them to a cleaners over Christmas in Cheltenham, where I was staying, but not seemed to have made any difference at all.Thanks in advance.

I used to take everything to the wonderful Dennis and Pat at Lapels near Kew Bridge. When they closed, they recommended Neil at Kew Dry Cleaning. We have been using him ever since. He's on Sandycombe Road, but always collects and drops off our cleaning. He's got all sorts of marks out of everthing and dry cleaning/pressing is always spot on. His number is 07850 386850

I would 100% recommend Garment Spa, which used to be called Four Star Dry Cleaners107 Chiswick High Road, W4 2EDPhone: 020 8994 0534When I first used them years ago, they rescued a jacket that other dry cleaners, including Top Hat, had said it was impossible to save. Since then, whatever I have sent them, they have never let me down. Highly recommend.

According to this old topic, Top Hat in Devonshire Road was recommended. Is it still run by Mike and is it still recommended? Or do other posters have another choice for best dry cleaner in Chiswick?

Without seeing the material content, care label and colorfastness I would not suggest the washing up liquid and rubbing answer, without testing the trousers you do run the risk of removing colour with the rubbing. You would also need to flush away any "spotting chemical" and if the trousers are not washable you will be left with marks from the oil and washing up liquid.We're in our 50th year here so feel free to pop them in and we'll give you free honest advice. Have you tried washing up liquid applied neat and vigorous rubbing.?
