New Record Price Paid for Ealing Home
House on Blakesley Avenue becomes area's most expensive house
The record price for a residential property in Ealing has been broken by the sale of a house in Blakesley Avenue for £3,190,000.
The sale of the seven bedroom home opposite Ealing Abbey exceeds the previous highest price paid for a property in Woodville Gardens in July 2011.

The property was marketed by the local branch of Hamptons who say they achieved over the asking price with two potential buyers bidding against each other.
The sale provides further evidence of a buoyant local property market which reached an all-time high average price for the W5 post code area in the second quarter of 2012 when the level reached over £500,000 for the first time.
Since then prices may have moved even higher with 70 properties having sold since the beginning of June at an average price of £597,768 according to the Land Registry.
Of these 4 sold for over a million pounds including the Blakesley Avenue property.
Vikash Gandhi of haart estate agents in Ealing said, "It just goes to prove that there is still plenty of confidence in the sales market - contrary to what has been communicated in the media recently. We are currently selling more properties than ever before and urgently need more vendors."
In West Ealing (W13) the average price was £468,072 with 61 properties changing hands. The most expensive home sold in the area during the month was on Argyle Road going for £1,150,000. Another home on Mortimer Road sold for £1,000,000.
The July data from Land Registry's flagship House Price Index shows an annual price rise of 0.3% which takes the average property value in England and Wales to £162,900.
London remains the best performing area in the country with prices rising by 6.5% to £367,785 over the same period.
The most up-to-date figures available show that during May 2012, the number of completed house sales in England and Wales increased by 2 per cent to 50,083 compared with 48,974 in May 2011.
The number of properties sold in England and Wales for over £1 million in May 2012 increased by 107 per cent to 562 from 271 in May 2011.

The numbers below are subject to revision as is it usual that some properties are added late to the Land Registry's database.
