A group of teachers and teaching assistants from Ealing had a very special treat this Saturday (30 November) after being invited spend time with puppies.

The puppy-led wellness event at Dickens Yard organised by Teach Plus as a thank you to local educators was described as a huge success with the guests expressing pure joy at being able to spend time with a litter of playful pups.

There were no structured activities as the aim was to give a much-needed wellness break to unwind, relax, and recharge. Teaching can be an incredibly demanding profession, and Teach Plus recognizes the toll it can take on mental and emotional well-being.

Teach Plus says it is looking forward to hosting more events for local educators in the future as the events are not just about wellness, but also about building connections. Teachers and TAs will have the chance to meet others, share experiences, and take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily school life.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
