A Shakespearean theme to the latest series of talks
A new term of opera lectures by Ross Alley is due to begin. The talks take place on Fridays afternoons in the The Friends Meeting House, Woodville Road, Ealing W5 2SE.
The first half of this series examines operas that can be seen in London, either live or at the cinema while, in honour of the 400 th anniversary in commemoration of Shakespeare this year, the second half is dedicated to operatic works based on the plots of his plays.
