Starts this Saturday in Ealing Broadway town square
The talented artisans of Ealing are getting their own craft fair.
Setting up in Town Square, the market is organized by local event company Eat Me Drink Me and will feature a wide variety of hand-made goods from Ealing vendors. Everything from decorated candles, jewelry and screen-prints to Ealing themed cushions, tea towels and totes will be available to purchase on the day from popular local crafters such as Charlotte Berridge, - Garden Shed Designs, Lorna Kyle and Bell Eames.
Just in time for Mother's Day, parents are encouraged to bring little ones along to help pick a present, or create their own gift, during a unique crafting session put on by local Hanwell-based craft house, The Little Art Room.
The food trucks from Eat Me Drink Me will also be present for its second day (first day Friday 4 March 2016).
Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: ''We’re looking forward to launching the latest addition to the centre, CraftedW5, just in time for shoppers to pick out an extra special gift for Mother’s Day. It’s the perfect opportunity for Ealing fathers to get the kids out of the house, support local crafters and sample some of Ealing’s best food trucks while mum enjoys the weekend off.''
Eat Me Drink Me’s Kate McKenzie added: ''We’re delighted to not only be bringing back our weekly food truck market, and with it a line-up of traders not usually found this far West, but also a monthly craft market. CraftedW5 will feature many of the areas most talented makers & artisans and will be a fantastic addition to the centre and Ealing in general.''
The new craft market launch follows the announcement of the return of Food Stop W5, back for its second year, and will occur the first Saturday of every month throughout the summer from 10am – 5pm.
