The Co-op and Post Office on Pitshanger Lane has reopened following a two-week refurbishment designed to modernise the store and improve services for local residents.
The branch, located at 116–118 Pitshanger Lane, now features a refreshed layout and updated interior. It will continue to operate extended hours, opening 6am–10pm Monday to Saturday and 7am–10pm on Sundays.
Alongside full Post Office services, the store offers the Co-op’s usual range of fresh produce, bakery items, food-to-go, Fairtrade goods, flowers, ready meals, pizzas, wines, beers and everyday essentials.
The reopening coincides with the launch of several new Co-op product ranges. These include the retailer’s new Served ‘Taste of Asia’ meal deal for two, and—marking a first for a UK convenience chain—its own-brand GLP-1 friendly meals, part of the Co-op’s expanding “Good Fuel” health range.
Shoppers will also find a series of in-store promotions, with additional savings available to Co-op members through lower member-price offers on frequently purchased items.
For those preferring home delivery, groceries from the Pitshanger Lane store can be ordered through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats, with items picked in-store and delivered locally.
Store manager Masih Bayat said the investment was aimed at strengthening the shop’s role at the heart of the community.
“We’re delighted to invest in Ealing to enhance and improve the shopping experience for the community,” he said. “The store looks great, and we have a focus on being a hub locally—delivering quality, choice, value and added services for everyone. We’re here to contribute to local life and support the community.”
The shop operates as a Co-op franchise. The Co-op, one of the world’s largest consumer-owned co-operatives, has more than seven million members who collectively own the business and help shape its governance.
