Woman told officers she was attacked after exiting Ealing Broadway station
An investigation has been launched after a woman reported being raped in Ealing in the early hours of Sunday morning (16 September).
The victim, who is in her mid-twenties, says she encountered a man while travelling on the Central line. They started to talk and both left the train at Ealing Broadway station at around 5.10am. As they walked, the man led her into an alley near Haven Green and carried out the attack.
The man is described as having a Mediterranean appearance and was aged about 20.
Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command (CASO) are investigating and specialist officers are providing support to the victim.
Detective Inspector Daniel Langton from CASO, said,“We would like to speak to anyone who was traveling on the Central Line from town around 5am or who was in the area at the time of the assault.
“Your information could be of vital assistance to the enquiry.”
