Stylish emporium of affordable luxury now open
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens – it would be impossible not to find some of your favourite things at Polomo, new boutique owned and run by Carolyn Hall and Terry Coyne.
Long term Chiswick residents; they made the life changing decision to open a stylish emporium of luxury goods. From exquisite jewellery and chic knitwear to heavenly scents and fine homewares, each item in the boutique has been sourced with great care and attention only perfectionists can muster – and Carolyn and Terry are just that.
Purists when it comes to quality, style, value for money and customer care, they spent the best part of a year researching their market and building relationships with their suppliers. It is such attention to detail that puts Polomo in a league of its own.
Carolyn, formerly a member of BA cabin crew, said “Travelling has given me a unique and fortunate insight into some of the most beautiful and affordable luxury products from many talented and individual designers."
She went on to say “We have spent many months carefully selecting our range and we will listen to our customers’ feedback to make sure we fine tune our stock and provide what people want. Terry and I have tried to create a friendly relaxed and unpressurised environment for people to browse and have chat with us about our products which take in many suppliers from the UK as well as Australia, France, Germany and the US."
Their range includes contemporary homeware from Neisha Crosland and Claire Nayman, beautiful jewellery from Lola Rose and gorgeous gifts from Johnny Loves Rosie. The range of nightwear from Eternal Creation is as elegant as it is also ethical. Terry explains, “They are made in the Himalayas by Tibetan artisans. The designs originate from an Australian company who send their people out to live with the Tibetans in their Himalayan communities. They operate a fair trade policy and make sure that these artisans and their families are properly treated.”
“I’d like to think that we’ve brought to Chiswick a boutique which offers many things you are unlikely to find anywhere else in the area, and at affordable prices combining top quality and workmanship with value for money” said Carolyn.
Visitors to Polomo will most probably agree.
