Marmalade Making Competition Returns

Popular festival attraction is back for another year

Marmalade Jewellery of Turnham Green Terrace is holding its popular Marmalade Making competition for the 2013 Bedford Park Festival.

If you are thinking about entering this year's competition, don’t forget to pick up your free oranges in the store before the end of January.

Following the success of previous years' competition they will keep a similar format. There will be two categories, classic Seville Orange and Mixed citrus fruits which this year has been extended to include any speciality Marmalade.

The Seville orange season runs out at the beginning of February but don’t worry simply pop into Marmalade Jewellery before the end of the month to get your free oranges for your preserves.

You’ll need to get making soon, but closing date for entries into the store is Sunday 26th May 2013.

Former world champion, author and renowned preserve specialist Vivien Lloyd is once again judging this years entries and offering tasting notes and advice to all makers.

Entries into this year's competition will cost £3 per jar and all proceeds go into the Green Days charities.
