Local branch will remain for "foreseeable future"

Clients of Benefit beauty bar and make-up shop in Chiswick will be pleased to hear that the shop is to remain open.

The local branch, which was due to close two weeks ago has been given a reprieve “for the foreseeable future”.

It is understood that plans for another business, believed to be a dry-cleaning outfit, to take over the premises fell through.

The six staff at Benefit, who were due to be relocated to other stores, have now been told they can stay in Chiswick.

Benefit has been on the High Road for almost three years. An American-founded chain, the shops are popular for their candy-store decor and whimsical atmosphere.
