Shoppers can stock up on a range of top-quality; meat, veg, fruit, cheese and baked goods and watch resident artists at work.

Keira Rathbone, typewriter artist and potter, Roz Wallis will be out in the market. Roz will be turning pots and Keira live typing and offering exclusive 10-15 min commissioned mini family portraits typed from life. Studios will be open for bespoke gifts.

Dukes Meadows Trust Chair Paul Davis said, “We are delighted to bring our two social enterprises: the market and studios, together for Christmas. Both have been pivotal in regenerating the park and ensuring the Trust can maintain the improvements it has made. Proceeds from running these social enterprises pay to maintain the paddling pool and help with maintenance of the play area. The funds also fund going improvements like the new avenue of Lime trees the Trust planted beside Riverside Drive and will be used towards the restoration of the Promenade Approach gates, which will start in February.”

In addition to fresh foods, there will be a range of ready to eat stalls for a brunch or lunch stop.

The last market of the year will be on the 19th December and the market will re-open on 9th January. Orders for fresh food can be collected at the market on 23rd.
