CIFF champions the cinematic connections of our West London community, celebrating films shot in Chiswick or made by Chiswick residents. This spring we present the fourth full edition of the festival, with a weekend of special screenings, Q&As and events with filmmakers and industry guests. The festival is presented in partnership between The Chiswick Calendar and Chiswick Cinema.
Chiswick in Film Festival (CIFF) champions the cinematic connections of our West London community and celebrates films shot in Chiswick or made by Chiswick residents.
The Wasp + Q&A with director Guillem Morales
A screening of the tense drama The Wasp, followed by a discussion with Chiswick resident and BAFTA-winning director Guillem Morales (Inside No.9, Julia’s Eyes), hosted by BBC filmmaker Andrea Carnevali.

Heidi: Rescue of the Lynx – Kids Club screening
A family screening of the animated adventure based on the classic story of Heidi, introduced by award-winning screenwriter Rob Sprackling

Writing for Animation Workshop with Rob Sprackling
A hands-on workshop for ages 16+ exploring story ideas, character development and the craft of writing for animation with the Disney and Aardman writer.

A special screening of the Golden Globe-nominated biopic about Oscar Wilde, followed by a conversation with director Brian Gilbert and filmmaker Virginia Gilbert.

Part of a special season celebrating playwright and screenwriter Simon Gray.

Reawakening + Q&A with director Virginia Gilbert
A later festival event featuring the mystery drama about a missing daughter who reappears after a decade, followed by a Q&A with BAFTA-nominated director Virginia Gilbert.
