Children from West London Dance Academy to feature in short film

Chiswick’s West London Dance Academy will feature in a short film on The Playhouse Disney Channel.

Youngsters from the academy were filmed during their ballet class this week and will be featured demonstrating their talent and discussing what they have learnt and what they love about their ballet class.

The film is scheduled to be shown throughout the summer from June 2006.

The West London Dance Academy teaches classes to children in Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz. The Academy follows the world renowned IDTA syllabus and places emphasis on each individual child to maximise not only their dance talent and potential but also each child’s confidence, co-ordination, self esteem and self expression.

Judith Taylor, West London Dance Academy’s Director says “Participation in the film with the Playhouse Disney Channel was a great experience for the pupils who demonstrated such talent and enthusiasm for their dancing”.
