Development At Former Site Of Est Est Est Completed

Speculation that a new restaurant or high end retailer will take commercial space

The developers of the large site where pizza restaurant Est Est Est site was once located, say they anticipate the commercial space will be let to an upmarket restaurant or high-end retailer.

Seven luxury apartments on the first floor of the development which is located on the corner of Netheravon Road and Chiswick High Road, have been sold off-plan for about £1 million and two town houses are now on the market, one for £1.65 million and the other for £1.85 milliion.

The 4,800 sq ft commercial space, where the former pizza chain was located, is now up for commercial lease with rent priced at £20.78 per sq ft.

Q Developments, the property company, said the speed with which the apartments sold has shown that Chiswick is enjoying a healthy residential market. The company said they had recreated the historic building replicating the period features while at the same time producing modern interiors.

“We anticipate that the commercial space will be let to an upmarket, independent, restaurant or retailer, given the high quality specification of the space, and its quirky period features," said Managing Director of Q Developments Sean Quinn.

"If you walk down the Chiswick High Road you will see that it is thriving, with retailers hugely supported by Chiswick’s close community, and we expect that the commercial space will be taken by a tenant who will cater to this market, as well as benefit from it. As demonstrated by the speed at which the apartments sold, Chiswick is enjoying a healthy residential market, with families and urban professionals keen to settle in a vibrant area which still retains a village-like feel. We are looking to let the space to a tenant who recognises this and who will make a long-term addition to the community.”
