Richmond Lacrosse Club, which is based at the Kings House Sports Ground in Chiswick, is launching a spring program of sessions for younger children.

The 5 week term which begins on Sunday 27 February aims to just introduce the game of lacrosse to new players through a version of the sport called Pinball .

No experience is required, and no equipment either. The boys and girls will play non-contact lacrosse with mini-sticks and foam balls.

They learn the core skills or passing, catching, scooping and cradling. A team of professional coaches will incorporate these core skills within a variety of fun and active games. The club says Pinball is a great foundation for any youngster before they progress into older age group teams.

There are two pinball age groups - u8 and u10. Sessions run in parallel from 9.30am - 10.45am each Sunday morning for five weeks (27 Feb 2022 - 27 March 2022). All lacrosse equipment is provided, you'll just need suitable sports clothing and your own water bottle.

The taster sessions cost £10 with the full-term costing £60. You can book and pay on this link.
