Season looks set for tight finish with 3 games to go
Chiswick and Latymer gained valuable points in the race for promotion to Division 1 of the Thames Valley League with a thrilling draw against fellow promotion hopefuls Windsor .
Batting first Chiswick scored 281-5 built around half centuries from Paul Davis (63) and Sezan Haque (77*). Despite 87 from Stewart Millman , Windsor ended their overs 2 runs short, Chiswick taking 13 points to Windsor 's 7, setting up a thrilling climax to the season with three games to go.
The 2 nd XI lost at Harefield in another high scoring match. Set a target of 270 to win after a good team effort with the bat for Chiswick, Harefield reached the total with 6 wickets in hand and 5 balls to spare. Former Zimbabwe fast bowler Douglas Hondo scored a hard hitting 82 not out to seal the win for the home side.
The 3 rd XI extended their lead at the top of division 5B with a good win at Slough . Skipper Toby Clarke starred with the ball (4-25) and half centuries from Amrik Bhatia (54) and Trevor Woolley (64*) saw Chiswick home. The 4 th XI's match was rained off, while the 5 th XI lost to Royal Ascot.

Division 7B: Chiswick & Latymer 5 th XI 148 Royal Ascot 149-4. Royal Ascot win by 6 wickets
