Rick Stein Indian Menu At Sam's Brasserie


Sam's Brasserie in Chiswick is now offering an
Express Lunch & Early Bird Menu
Inspired by Rick Stein’s new book and TV series, ‘India, in Search of the Perfect Curry’.

Rick Stein says "I am thrilled that Sam and his team have created special set menus based on my new book and my Indian adventures. I had such fun exploring India and finding these recipes and I have chosen a few specific dishes with Sam that I think would work well in his restaurants- hope you enjoy them."

Head Chef Mark Baines has worked with Rick to bring you a selection of his favourite dishes from the new book that work well on our set menu. Therefore not only offering you great value, but also the opportunity to try some of these fragrant and vibrant dishes

In Rick's new book he has uncovered 120 new recipes from fragrant kormas, delicate spiced fish, slow- cooked biryanis and more, and inspiration for his own take on that elusive dish- the perfect curry

Some of the dishes Mark will be showing casing are

  • Pepper and Tomato Sour Soup, Red Split Lentils
  • Pau Bhaji, Cumin Spiced Flat Bread- this is a finely chopped vegetable curry cooked to a soft mash
  • Curried Squid, Chickpea Fritter
  • Coconut Masala Eggs, Green Chilli
  • Pondicherry Mackerel Fish Fry, Basmati Rice- wonderful simple but spicy fish dish
  • Lamb Koftas, Cinnamon and Chilli Yoghurt
  • Fresh Alfonso Mango and Lime
  • Coconut and Cardamom Rice Pudding
  • Saffron and Lemon Cream, Candied Pistachios

During June and July we are are running these dishes on our set menu and also have them available on the a la carte- we will chop and change and try different dishes as well
