The hotel is owned by parent company Moran Hotel Group, which has a number of hotels in Ireland, and another establishment, the Crown Moran Hotel, in Cricklewood.

The general manager Josh Cameron said they were “ very excited” about the plans. It is expected that around 80 jobs will be created locally.

The hotel has benefited from its proximity to the Chiswick Business Park, and is also popular with rugby teams and supporters.

There is no completion date yet for the project.
