MasterChef Winner Phil Vickery Celebrates MasterChef Win In Chiswick

Devonshire Arms award winning Scotch egg provides ultimate prize

Having endured weeks of pressure, when Phil Vickery recently won Celebrity MasterChef, he understandably decided to let someone else take the strain in the kichen when celebrating. So, hanging up his apron, he headed straight to the Devonshire Arms in Chiswick and tackled a Scotch Egg. But keeping up the winning theme, he did choose their award winning Scotch Egg as his dish for the evening.

If you missed seeing Phil eat a Scotch egg, you could instead catch him at MasterChef LIVE next weekend at London’s Olympia where he is the latest addition to the tantalising line-up for food and wine lovers. He joins a whole host of MasterChef faces, which includes host and judges, John Torode and Gregg Wallace, last year’s Celebrity Champion  - Lisa Faulkner as well as this year’s finalists, Kirsty Wark and Nick Pickard; Michel Roux Jr, Monica Galetti, Dhruv Baker, James Nathan, Tim Anderson, to name but a few.

Visitors will have the chance to watch Phil Vickery in the competitive Cook-Off theatre sessions. Hosted by John and Gregg, he’ll compete head-to-head with previous champion, Lisa Faulkner and MasterChef Champion, Tim Anderson.

Phil said: “I’ve heard great stuff happens at MasterChef LIVE and I can’t quite believe that I’m going to be judged by John and Gregg again so soon! Some may say a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire but I’m really looking forward to being there.”

The event runs from 11th -13th November (Phil appears on Saturday 12th).
